Year 4

Year 4 is fantastic!

 

In Year 4 you will have the chance to:

  • learn to play a musical instrument through whole class instrumental tuition
  • learn basic first aid
  • join a singing celebration with other school at St Mary's Crooked Spire Church
  • do a cross country run 
  • do an enterprise challenge
  • compete in a fencing festival
  • go on a two-day residential
  • dance to the whole school family
  • compete in a tag rugby event
  • be responsible for looking after our school guinea pig
  • celebrate school, national and global events in a big way - see our Jubilee and Coronation photos.
  • re-enact an invasion
  • go to a disco
  • go on a field study trip to a river
  • meet a textile designer
  • learn six poems by heart and perform to an audience
  • lead charity work and help us to raise money for charities that we choose to support
  • watch a live theatrical performance
  • go on a surprise Key Stage Two summer trip

In your lessons you will learn all about the Invasion by the Anglo Saxons, Misty Mountains and Winding Rivers,  and Ancient Civilisation. Go to the curriculum section of the website to find out more.
