Performance Management of Staff
Every teacher has several targets for their professional development for the year. These targets are documented in an action plan are closely aligned with the needs of the school development plan.
For the year beginning September 2020, all teaching staff are focussing upon developing the subjects of Physical Education and Religious Education. All teachers are subject leaders and their performance management targets relate to developing exemplary practice in their chosen subject/s as well as developing the role of the subject governor.
Additionally, all teachers have a target relating to the outcomes for their class in reading, writing and mathematics.
As part of their ongoing Cotinuous Professional Development, all teachers have a Teaching and Learning Action Plan which identifies specific development targets for their personal professional development; these often link to whole school initiatives.
