School Development Plan

Performance Management of Staff


Every teacher has three targets for their professional development for the year.

These targets are documented in an action plan which is closely aligned with the targets set in the school development plan.  


For the year beginning September 2022, as a staff team, we are focusing upon developing the curriculum, particularly in History and Science - so watch out for special enrichments activities in these subjects this year. 


All teachers are subject leaders and their performance management targets relate to developing the quality of teaching and learning in their chosen subject from Reception class right up to Year 6.


Additionally, all teachers have a target relating to the outcomes for their class in reading, writing and mathematics, as well as a clear plan for managing their workload whilst making progress in their career plan.


These action plans are reviewed each term.
