Our Nurture & Wellbeing Manager is Mrs Shaw
At Christ Church we have a Nurture & Wellbeing Manager called Mrs Shaw.
Mrs Shaw organises our Nurture Groups and Positive Play Sessions and works to keep all our children happy, healthy and safe.
Nurture Groups are run in our special classroom called the Marina to all children during their time in Year 1, so that they build a trusting relationship with an important adult in school.
Mrs Shaw joins lots of playtimes and lunchtimes too, to monitor how children are playing and making sure no-one is on their own or finding it hard to make friends.
Another important aspect of her role is to help our families when they are going through tough times. She has a wealth of experience in navigating services which can offer extra help when it is needed.
