Mrs. De Wynter and Mrs. Knapper are the voice at the other end of the telephone, they will answer all your questions about life at Christ Church C of E Primary School. There are lots of reasons you may contact school and various forms you may need to fill in, to make life a little easier we have placed links to some of the forms on this page.
Medicines
At school we may administer medicines that have been prescribed by a doctor, to enable us to administer this we need parents permission to do so. The form below needs to be completed and sent into school with your child's medicine - this needs to be handed into Mrs Knapper (First Aid) where it will be stored in a cool safe place and administered by a member of first aid trained staff.
Uniform
At Christ Church C of E Primary we ask that the children all wear uniform, the uniform consists of a red sweatshirt or fleece and a white polo shirt. For PE we ask that the children wear black shorts and a white t shirt. At school we sell a range of good quality items with our school logo. These can be ordered from Mrs DeWynter at various times during the school year and the order form returned to school with payment in full.
Exceptional leave of absence
Headteachers have the discretion to grant leave, but this will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and not, for example a family holiday. It is a parental responsibility to ensure that their children attend school, and as such, they can be fined for not taking this responsibility seriously. To find out more click the link.
However, if you wish to apply for exceptional leave of absence then a form must be filled in and returned to school.
General Absence
If your child is absent due to illness or other circumstances then you need to contact school on the first day of their absence before 9am by calling 01246 273569. Mrs Spencer our attendance monitor regularly checks pupils attendance.
