Role of the Board of Governors
Schools and Academies have a Governing Body who represent the public and stakeholders and have an active interest in the school.
At Christ Church C. of E. Primary School our Governing Body comprises of representatives from Trinity/Christ Church, staff, parents and the local authority. The duties of the Governing Body are to:

The Board of Governors hold Governing Body meetings (at least 3 times a year) and sub-committee meetings (Teaching & Learning Committee and Resources Committee) regularly.
Governors serve for a minimum of 4 years.
