Year 1 is wonderful!
In Year 1 you will have the chance to:
- dance on the stage of the Winding Wheel to an audience of hundreds
- compete in a 'grow a tall sunflower' competition
- experience what a Victorial classroom would be like
- make a delicious sandwich
- perform a Nativity play
- go to a sporting multiskills festival
- go on a local walk
- make a den
- dress up for World Book Day
- be responsible for looking after our school guinea pig, Sid

- go to a disco
- meet a gardener
- learn six poems by heart and perform to an audience
- help us to raise money for charities that we choose to support
- watch a live theatrical performance
- dance to the whole school family
- go on a special summer key stage one trip
- act out an Easter story assembly
- celebrate Harvest, Christmas and Easter at Christ Church
- take part in Sports Day
